As SF-CESS’ Board President, I bring over 40 years of experience as an educator, along with the perspective of raising four children of different races, which has profoundly shaped my understanding of equity and justice. The training, support, and coaching I received through SF-CESS transformed me and permanently shifted my lens as an educator and leader. As a white woman, I am deeply committed to anti-racism work, allyship, and the ongoing work of dismantling systemic inequities that impact historically underserved communities, leading with unwavering belief, accountability, and dedication to advancing equity both professionally and personally.
