Annual Silent Auction

Join SF-CESS for its 4th Annual Silent Auction!

Enjoy performances from local artists and activists as we share wine, words and winning bids!  Our relaxing agenda will be interactive to get guests to mingle.

Something for Everyone: You will be able to bid on items large and small.  While donations continue to arrive, here are a examples of items from 2016’s Silent Auction:

  • Gift Cards & Gift Certificates: Generous donations from a variety of stores and restaurants  (BiRite, Books Inc., Dog Eared Books, NOPA, Whole Foods, etc.)
  • Travel: Trips include 7-Night Stay in Oahu (there are date limitations – so bring your calendar); Kayaking in Pt. Reyes; 1-Night Stay at Best Western Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica
  • Art: Original pieces (including jewelry) from our regular supporters Bud Cook, Monica Magtoto, Steven Vigil, Woo Williams and more.
  • Goods & Gift Baskets: Themes include Fun & Games, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Philz Coffee, Teaching, Trader Joes, Wine, etc.
  • Services & Entertainment: Tickets and gift certificates to local museums and venues for individuals and families (ACT, Beach Blanket Babylon, Exploratorium, Soul Cycle, etc.)…and more!

SF-CESS’ mission is “to interrupt and transform current and systemic educational inequities to ensure all students have access to personalized, equitable and high-performing schools that believe and demonstrate each student can, should and will succeed”.  Your contribution and proceeds from this auction support SF-CESS to achieve this mission by developing and engaging leaders and programs that identify and improve inequities in schools – including those inequities rooted in systemic racism.
